This is the really stupid question. If it is so dangerous to put metal in the microwave oven, why is the inside of the mircowave oven made of metal?

Can I get a straight answer on this?

Does the metal have to be within a certain proximity to magnatron to cause an undesirable effect?

Are there certain shapes of metal that are ok for mircowave oven use.

Are there any specially designed alloys that you can heat in a microwave oven.

The inner walls of the microwave is metal after all. The walls of the microwave don’t kill the magnatron or cause an electical ark.

It also says on Yahoo that sparking in a microwave is more likely to occure when metal edges are thin or pointed.

So just to recapitulate. It is hypothetically posible to microwave metal without causing arching or reflecting microwaves back to the magnatron Causing the microwave to overheat and stop functioning properly.

Some microwaves are available that you can heat certain types of metal.

I don’t suggest doing it. Here’s a link to a site written by an electical engineer with some knowledge of the subject. Can you put metal in the microwave? There are some great links to telsa coils and stuff like that in here.

So pretty much the reaction the microwave will have to foreign metal being placed in it will depend on the strengh of the microwave emitted by the magnatron, the proportions of the cavity in relation to strengh of the wave, the shape, texture, thickness, density of the metal being placed in the microwave in relation to fore mentioned variables.

In short it isn’t don’t put metal in the microwave. Hypothetically,if the variables are right and I don’t claim to be qualified to make an sceintific statement whatsoever, you can put metal in the microwave without it exploding or arching. I can’t reiderate this enough don’t heat metal in a microwave oven.

DO NOT PUT METAL IN THE MICROWAVE.

I get some guy 0n the phone who is a bit slow but what do you expect. Have you seen a call center. They are telephone sweatshops. I used to work in a telephone survey call center. It was one of the worst jobs you can ever had.

I broke one of my teeth a few weeks ago. I’ve been trying to call the dentist for a while. I’ve been getting the answering service. The answering service sucks. It is the product of crappy local telephone service providers that don’t offer voice mail. The messaging service has been in business for 18 years.
Once La Grande Catches up with the industrialized world the messaging service will be out of business. They are rude and don’t really want to take my messages. Another place I applied for job when I was really hard up. I see they didn’t find anyone better suited. Good, I hate talking on the phone.

I did telephone cutomer service at State Farm, Charter Communications, and BNC Mortgage but I’m not qualified to work for your podunk answering serivce in BFE union county. I don’t have breast so I didn’ t get the job. You know they are going to descriminate against you because of your sex if you are man. Sex descriminatin pisses me off. Give a man a job for a change. No don’t give just any man a job give me a job. I wait you are a sexist, I don’t want to work for you.

I don’t really care about watitress jobs. I want to be served by a woman, that’s becuase I want to stare at her (*)(*)! Not really. Waitresses are another bread of people that I just don’t like. Not all of them. I’ve never dated a waitress and there is a good reason for this.

Back to the toothache The dentist won’t take an I owe you and send a bill. I have to have insurance or pay cash. The insurance industry is pissing me off.

Home Tooth ache remedies.

Take shot of Vodka and swish it around in the area where the toothache is. Note that if you are a minor and don’t have permission from your parents or it isn’t legal for them to give you alcohol in your state you shouldn’t do it. The last thing you want is to be hassled for taking a shot for a toothache. Minors shouldn’t drink anyway. Don’t damage your brain, you will need it.

Anbesol

Not really a home remedy but it works really good.
Always make sure to follow the manufactures directions. This way you can’t sue me for suggesting that you use it.

Tylenol

If you have a low drug tolerance like I do, Tylenol or alive will do the trick.
Follow the directions on the bottle. Don’t OD on pain killers.

That’s a great idea. I need to find a woman to make out with all day. I suppose the edorphines from sex would cure the pain for while too. I’m just another single white guy with a toothache.

Excedrine migraine

There’s a recomendation. Let me run out an buy some this payday in nine more days.

Ice is another home remedy for tooth aches. Try compressing the ice the area where the pain is.

NSAIDs (Non-steroidal anti inflamatory drugs) are good to have around. I think you have to have a perscription. Ibupofen is also recemmend according to Indian Child. Doesn’t really work for me. That stuff gives me heartburn and stomach pain.

According to Henriette Yarrow root is very good for curing tooth ache pain.

The forum is starting to pick up some members and is visited regularly. I’m going to buy advertising for the site. I have selected another forum site that seems promising.
